Finding solid World of Warcraft tips can be a challenge for a brand new player. There are many helpful articles and how tos explaining the best ways to farm or how to complete a raid successfully. However, very little time is given to the new players who are trying to learn the game. To help those new players, here are three important World of Warcraft tips that should be remembered as soon as you begin character creation.
Warcraft Tips #1: Take your Time When Making a Character
Whether you are starting out solo or have a group of friends waiting for you, take your time when you make your first character. Do a little research and gain an understanding of each classs strengths and weaknesses. Find out which offers a play style that fits your preferences. This is usually easier to do if you have played MMOs before. Just consider what your favorite role in past groups was, and use that information to choose your class.
Also, make sure you add personal touches to the look of your character. After all, this will be your digital avatar for the duration of your characters play time. This may sound like it should not fall in with World of Warcraft tips, but it is important. Even players who do not role play still develop attachments to their characters, so make sure yours looks the way you want him or her to!
Warcraft Tips #2: Avoid Distractions When Learning
The first one to five levels will be a learning experience. This is when you learn the basics about how to play and how to get around. Learn at your own pace and try to avoid distractions. It is not a good idea to breeze past the starter quests, even if you have friends who know how to play to help. What if they are not on the next time you login and you are left in a zone you dont know with no gold and no idea what to do.
Also avoid getting caught up in other elements of the game. You really shouldnt worry about making gold, farming, or leveling up professions until you know these basic Warcraft tips and can handle the every day things.
Warcraft Tips #3: Dont Give Up After One Character
This may be among the World of Warcraft tips, but it really applies to any MMORPG. If you really dont like the game after your first character, do not give up right away. Instead, try a different class, and possibly a different realm. Make sure it is truly the game you dislike and not the class you chose to start with. If your play style clashes with the class you choose, this can be very frustrating and paint an unfair picture of the game in your mind. No one likes dying over and over again, and this can lead to more headaches. Instead, take a break and come back with a new class! Giving the game a second chance may be one of the best Warcraft tips you hear!
