Charleston, known as “The Holy City” is home to more than 200,000 residents. Charleston is one of the top ten largest city’s in the world. And with it being so populated I can assure you that there are plenty of Things to do in Charleston.
Charleston is named the Holy City because of all the beautiful churches you will find that line the city scape. Not only are the churches a magnificent sight but Charleston is also know for its wonderfull historical buildings and art museums. The Allan Park, Cannon Park, Mall Park, and McMahon Playground are just a few parks that have a vast area and plenty of equipment for your children to play on. If that doesn’t get the adrenalin pumping check out Hampton Park, which has its very own horse race track attached to the park. If your traveling with your significant other you might want to check out Sunrise Park, or Waterfront Park where you can walk along the Cooper river and watch the breathtaking sunrise reflect off the glass water.
